Behind the Scenes

Lee Wilson

Rachel Wheeley
A founder member of 4am CAB, Rachel worked on Series 1 and Series 2.  Rach was the first person to coin the phrase, which now lends its name to this nocturnal comedy podcast.  Spending too many hours travelling to work for [ridiculous] early shifts not only inspired the name but also the theme for the project as well as sparking ideas for several sketches.  Rachel is a proud resident of Tooting in South London and has a troupe of #jamfacedbrats to keep her busy and awake at 4am.  She has written for BBC Radio 4’s Listen Against, News Quiz and 4 Extra’s Newsjack. Rachel also drinks a lot of #tea and can be found wanging on via twitter into the small hours and beyond. (Hence the overuse of #hashtags – Ed).  In early 2015, Rachel followed Lee’s footsteps and did her first ever Stand Up gig – the question remains, would she jump off a cliff if Lee did it first?
